MUSIC IS HER NAME launched in 2025 to shake up the status quo and empower women across the music and creative industries. Founded by KARO GLAZER — artist, composer, producer, and co-founder of RED PRODUCERS — the foundation fuels education, sparks inspiration, and provides real, sustainable support for women ready to break rules, build bold careers, and own their creative power.

Women today make up just 3% of music producers and 6% of composers globally — and in decision-making, creative, and leadership roles they’re still under 20% of the industry.

As a woman who is simultaneously an independent artist and a producer, Karo Glazer has received feedback that her journey inspires women across Europe to push boundaries, master new skills, and pursue their dreams. With past initiatives where over 50% of participants have been female, she proved the demand is real. MUSIC IS HER NAME now expands that legacy into a lasting movement — empowering creators, challenging norms, and building a creative network of women working in the music industry.
